FAQ
- Is my financial data uploaded to a server?
- Assets and snapshots stay on your device by default, with sync through your private iCloud or encrypted backup to your chosen WebDAV storage. In 1.9.1, the mainland China storefront and service do not offer AI connections or sharing. Eligible overseas users can explicitly share summaries and separately opt into holdings analysis after previewing the scope and authorizing each AI app. Account names, notes and quantities are excluded; numbered positions remain linked to your account. See our Privacy Policy.
- Which markets and asset types are supported?
- Live prices are available for A-shares (Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing exchanges and exchange-traded funds), Hong Kong, US, Taiwan (main board and OTC), Japanese, Singapore, Australian and Canadian stocks, crypto, open-end funds (including QDII) and US mutual funds with NAV fetched automatically, and precious metals — gold, silver, platinum and palladium — priced per gram or per troy ounce. Wert covers 13 asset categories: cash, equities, real estate, insurance, pension, digital assets, liabilities, and more — all multi-currency, consolidated in your base currency (CNY or other).
- How does AI screenshot import work, and are my screenshots uploaded?
- Screenshot the holdings page in your brokerage app, and Wert reads it into accounts right on your iPhone. The screenshot itself never leaves your device or touches our servers; only the recognized ticker symbols are sent to our search to match them to standard codes. Longbridge, Futu, and Alipay funds are supported today. Quantities and cost basis are pre-filled, and nothing is saved until you review and confirm each row. Your first import is free; Pro unlocks unlimited imports, so you can refresh your holdings by screenshot at every check-in.
- Is Wert free?
- Core features are free, including periodic snapshots, history, and multi-market prices. Upgrading to Pro unlocks all advanced features — holdings look-through, encrypted WebDAV backup, unlimited accounts, a real-growth-vs-currency breakdown, and the FIRE retirement simulator. Pro comes as a monthly or annual subscription (cancel anytime), or a one-time lifetime purchase — all through Apple in-app purchase.
- How do I delete my account?
- Open Wert → Settings → Account → Delete Account. After confirmation, your account data, subscription records, quota, AI authorizations and shared copy are deleted from the live service. Local financial data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear it manually. See details below.
- How do I contact you?
- Email us at [email protected] and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. You can also use the feedback form below.
Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly within the Wert app: open the App → Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm.
After deletion, your login credentials, Pro subscription records, API quota, AI authorizations and shared copy will be deleted from the live service. This does not mean immediate physical erasure from backups or transaction logs, or removal of information already in third-party AI conversations. See our Privacy Policy.
Financial data stored locally on your device (asset accounts, snapshot history, etc.) is not affected by server-side account deletion. It will be removed when you uninstall the app or clear your data manually within the app.
